Screaming Cactus is a casual tap game developed by Mycah Krason ("we", "us"). This policy explains what information is handled when you play the game on Android or iOS, and the choices you have. The short version: we do not collect, store, or sell your personal information. The only data that leaves your device is collected by Google, our advertising partner, in order to serve ads — and for young players those ads are non‑personalized.
None. The game does not require an account, does not ask for your name, email address, contacts, photos, or location, and we operate no servers that receive data from the game.
Your game progress — scores, in‑game currency, unlocked cosmetics and upgrades, settings, and your answer to the age question described below — is saved only in local storage on your device. It is never transmitted to us or anyone else, and it is deleted when you uninstall the app (on Android you can also remove it via Settings → Apps → Screaming Cactus → Clear data).
The first time ads are relevant, the game asks for your age. This answer is used solely to configure advertising appropriately (see below) and is stored only on your device. It is not sent to us.
The game shows optional rewarded video ads served by Google AdMob, a service of Google LLC. When an ad is requested, Google may collect and process data such as your device's advertising identifier, IP address, coarse (city‑level) location derived from it, device and app information, and how you interact with ads. Based on your answer to the age question:
Where required by law (for example in the European Economic Area and the United Kingdom), a consent form is shown before any ads are requested, and ads are served according to the choices you make there.
Screaming Cactus is suitable for all ages. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children. For players who indicate they are under 13, all ad requests are made with child‑directed treatment as described above. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child's personal information has been collected in connection with this game, please contact us at the address below and we will work with our ad partner to have it deleted.
We do not sell, trade, or share personal information with anyone. The only third party that processes data in connection with the game is Google, as described in the advertising section above.
Because we collect no personal data, there is no personal data for us to secure or lose. Game progress lives only on your device.
If the game's data practices change — for example if new features or services are added — this policy will be updated and the effective date above revised. Material changes will be noted in the app's store listing.
